Why do a 30-day writing challenge?

Does this sound familiar? You have a good writing flow. Then comes the summer holidays, which result in this:

A short break from writing caused me to doubt myself and ignore my writing intentions. It took over 2 months before I managed to write another story.

I like a challenge and need commitment, so I joined a 30-day writing challenge.

“I don’t need time, I need a deadline.”
― Duke Ellington

My goals for the 30 days:

  • prioritize writing ✍️
  • making it a habit to write and publish every day
  • learning and growing as a digital writer

The rules

To write and publish 30 stories in 30 days.
No guidelines for length or content. Go with the writing flow.

Did I publish 30 stories in 30 days?

Yes! The challenge has been an adventure. I’ve learned and struggled along the way. It has been fun, tiring, exciting, and rewarding.
