On a beautiful summer day, I visited my ancestor’s grave. Walking among the tombstones made me think about my life. I’ve become stuck in old and unfortunate thought patterns and need some changes. How should I prioritize my remaining days and years to make my 90-year-old self proud? I realize I must move away from the mediocre short-term thoughts to find my long-term goals and values.

This is what I want to do to make my 90-year-old self proud:

1. Give

I want to be a gentle and supportive person. Small things shouldn’t matter. I will focus on generosity.

2. Legacy

I want to leave something behind that can inspire, bring joy and teach. Although I do not envision what my legacy will become, I shall focus on creating content consistently.

3. Kind

Be kind. Always. Unnecessary and vicious comments and actions do not make the world a better place. From now on, if I don’t have something friendly or constructive to say, I will keep my mouth shut.

4. Productivity
