I’ve struggled since March 2021 to create a daily writing habit.

I’ve wanted to write and tried to write but found excuses to give up every time. I’m not good enough, I don’t know anything, no one would want to read what I write, and so on.

It took a writing challenge to get me started.

The Writing Game

Ship 30 for 30 is an online writing cohort hosted by Dickie Bush and Nicolas Cole. The challenge is to write one essay each day for 30 days. You also get a community, support, and useful lessons about becoming a better digital writer.

So, does it work?

Oh yes. This is my 15th essay in as many days. An accomplishment I have never managed on my own. Somehow they manage to make me so confident that I actually write. And publish.
