Rewrite Your Bio (So Your Readers Understand You’re Writing What They Are Interested In)

Tell them WHAT, WHO, and WHY

Are you writing about books or animals? Tell your reader what you write about in your bio. Image by the author.

If you want more to follow you, check if your bio tells the reader that you are someone to follow.

Do they understand that you will write the kind of stories they want to read?

Currently, I’m participating in the online writing cohort, Ship 30 for 30. The last live session was about the bio. It was valuable as usual👏

Check your bio. Does it tell the readers:

• What you write about
• Who is the content for
• Why trust you

If not, you should rewrite it✍🏻
