Undoubtedly, many doors open with artificial intelligence and ChatGPT. Could our job be done more efficiently?

Houston, we have a problem

As a teacher, I have a concern. We spend much time helping students become good writers. Expressing themself correctly is valuable knowledge, no matter what job they end up in.

The students practice writing both at school and at home. The life of a student is, unfortunately, mostly digital. They have next to zero physical books, and handwriting is a thing of the past. My students are online “24/7”.

Learning something new is often a frustrating process

When they struggle with their writing, how tempting will it be to seek help from a ChatGPT? It gives them a text that looks like humans wrote it.
