Unwind and Recharge With These 3 Delightful Dystopian Romance Novels
Feeling stressed out but can’t stop the continuous scrolling on the phone? Why not replace the tiring scrolling with a book? I will give you my best advice to relax and re-energize. Find a delicious book and move into a new world.
My recommendations are books in the category of dystopian romance novels. I’m addicted to dystopian literature. Here are my favorites, which all give just the right feeling.
Divergent by Veronica Roth
This book made me fall in love with this genre. The people in dystopian Chicago are divided into groups based on their personalities. Except for our hero, Tris Prior, which is divergent. She meets the handsome Four ❤️ This story is dramatic, captivating, and thought-provoking, with a beautiful love story.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The book series set the standard for this category in recent times. In a dystopian North America lies a wealthy capital surrounded by 12 poor districts. The districts must send two kids to compete in the Hunger Games, a game where only one will survive. Follow Katniss Everdeen in this story, which has superb world-building, an exciting plot, and a compelling love triangle.
Legend by Marie Lu
June and Day are at opposite ends of society with apparently nothing in common. Day is a criminal from the bottom of society, and June is the top student from the upper class. First, they are enemies before they get a common goal. The suspense rises, and romance grows. Love it!
“After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.”
— Philip Pullman
